October Went Ahead And Made It Weird

Yeah, this month has been an odd one.

Spotted in Reno, the Northern Sierra version of a Cybertruck: 

And, well...I'm not so sure this headline is in the best taste.

I mean...do they know what 'Everything floats' refers too?! Wasn't there a cop handy they could ask? 

 

But hey, my stuff from Discworld Emporium got here from England, yay!

Their packaging is a gift in itself. Love the Ankh-Morpork stamps, and the way they worked 'Guild' into their return address. 

The little card insert was pretty nifty, too!

 

 

Even if Bald Trev was a wee bit insulting. 

Also, Moose says 'Hi!'

Please admire her very full beard.

 She posed nicely for a Communist propaganda poster.

 After which she gave me the stern 'Enough already' stare.

 At least we got a very nice full rainbow over the back yard!

 

Where IS That Pot Of Gold...?

Yesterday we had a sudden, unexpected thunderstorm, and had a nice double rainbow to go with it! The view out in the front yard was quite different from the back:

 You can just see the secondary rainbow to the right of the main one.

 ...and the end ended in my chimney!

And from the back yard:

...and once again, it ends on my house!

Meanwhile, the chicks have started doing that weird snakey-head-use-your-sisters-as-a-pillow thing...

 Chicken neck-braiding.

If you don't like doing that, why just pal up to your little sis and show her you love her by protecting her in any way you can.
