Fun With Packing...

While packing up the cabinet that houses my chicken collection, ran across a couple of fun items.

The first is an Avon hand lotion bottle circa 1960's...

But how do you get the hand lotion out...?

RIP OFF IT'S HEAD. Gah! I call it my Mike The Headless Chicken bottle.

Also, these two cuties, carried all the way home from Hong Kong by my sister. Sadly, crummy picture.

They are carved from Takua nuts from a palm tree. My favorite part is the rooster's feet--

He's got human feet!

Also, this little shelf sitter looks just like our old rooster, Jack.

He's just so jaunty!
